A Space Built Around You

A salon dedicated to inspiring growth, for anyone who walks through our doors. Vástu Hair Studios was founded on the principles of radical authenticity, intentional education, and holistic care for the whole self. In the middle of a hectic world, vástu exists as an oasis to escape, refresh, and just BE. The business was founded in 2021 and expanded in 2023 to include 2 suites, a community room, and 3 booth-rent stations on the ground floor. The goal was to give all people a space where they had multiple options of local small businesses to support, both in its stylists and its vendors! Everyone we work with, we guarantee they put the absolute most care into their craft, and have deep values in both health and wellness. It may be done by our hands, but an appointment here is indeed self-care. When you choose Vástu, you are choosing you!

Mary Jayne

I'm Mary-Jayne, and I'll be your wax specialist!


I was trained in full-body SPEED waxing and have a passion for Brazilian waxing! I have been waxing consistently for 10 years, and I acknowledge how hard it can be for first-time clients to muster up the courage, so I promise a very fast service where I educate on how to get the best results that last!


I see clients from all walks of life, I always aim to be inclusive and understanding. My pricing and services are unisex because everyone is welcome. Hate has no place at Waxed By Mary-Jayne, and I will work hard to make you feel comfortable during your service.


Everyone has insecurities, and everyone feels alone in those insecurities. I just want to help people feel comfortable in their own skin. That looks different for everyone, but it's nice to know the job I do requires people to normalize seeing themselves both with and without hair regularly. I think it's important to love yourself as you are, and have the autonomy to change as you see fit! There's no shame in my room.

She is passionate about providing more than a great haircut—she is committed to delivering a consistent, personalized experience that clients can rely on every visit. By fostering a comfortable, welcoming environment and continually investing in her craft, Belle partners with each client to create a lasting hair journey built on trust, quality, and attention to detail. The result is clean, polished grooming that inspires confidence and stands the test of time.

Hi, I’m Ashley, a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for helping people feel confident and beautiful. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me creating handcrafted jewelry, suncatchers, and other unique pieces of art. Creativity is at the heart of everything I do, and I love sharing it through both beauty and handmade creations!

Hello! I’m Hannah, the owner, and I’m so excited to get to help you with your hair! I am incredibly passionate about what I do, from getting to connect with my wonderful clients, to educating everyone on the importance of proper care and quality products. I strive to meld the scientific world of cosmetology with the healing power of intentional service. 


I specialize in all things hair but truly love creative problem-solving through technical haircutting. So curly cuts, short textured cuts, shaggy manes, and lived-in flow are some of my favorite projects to work on! I also really enjoy kids cuts and making the experience for everyone as calm and fun as can be! 


I aim to bring holistic wellness into all my services to help you feel like yourself again!
